The MSSA is a nineteen and a half week technical bootcamp geared towards teaching service members and veterans the skills required to get a job in IT and the classes are taught through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.Ĭloud Application and Development which could teach you some levels of C#, database programming, data integration and manipulation, C# application programming and ASP.net and application development in Azure. So what I’m going to do is explain a few things such as, what is the MSSA, what it’s made to do, my experiences, my thoughts on the whole process and whether or not I believe it to be beneficial to service members and veterans. I tried to find out what we’d be studying so I could get a jump on it, where the class would be held, but what I couldn’t find were peoples experiences and thoughts on the course. I’m about to wrap up spending the last 19 and a half weeks attending the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) Cybersecurity administration course and before I start anything this big I always do my research, before I joined the Marines I knew what I’d be doing in boot camp, where and what I’d be doing in our infantry training and where I’d be attending my job school, and I did the same for the MSSA.
